When you arrive combines found photos, animation, textiles, and sculptural elements that evoke imagery from my childhood growing up as a second-generation Filipino-American and as a non-gender conforming person living in too many places between a world of tradition and fantasy, hanging onto the past while trying to move forward. In this body of work illustrates and animates family history that is often lost and animate the gaps that were not recorded.
